Our New MAKO Structural Fire Fighting Turn Out Gear has just been released.
Certified to Australian Standard AS4967- 2009.
The MAKO Structural Turn Out Gear is ultra light weight and more supple while providing the highest levels of protection. The MAKO suit allows a fire-fighter to move easily and comfortably in every kind of situation, from fires and toxic spills to traffic accidents.
The high performance characteristics of the MAKO Structural are as impressive as the technology that goes into it.
The MAKO Structural Turn Out Gear combines Blended Kevlar®/Nomex® fire-fighting systems.
This premium 3-layer system combines the thermal resistance of Nomex and the strength of Kevlar.
It provides outstanding protection from flame and radiant heat transference yet allows body heat to escape as evidenced by its water vapour resistance and Total Heat Loss (THL) performances.
The high Kevlar content in the outer barrier ensures maximum strength after multiple exposures to extreme heat.
All this protection is delivered in a fire-fighting suit designed with around 15% less weight than similar garments to give fire-fighters greater freedom of movement and comfort.
Additional compression padding on the shoulders makes the MAKO Structural Fire Fighting Ensemble perfect for carrying heavy loads like fire hoses or ladders.
The MAKO Structural also has additional padding on the knees and elbows.
Available with or without GORTEX moisture barrier.
In most cases, very short lead times. Contact us for a quote.
