The loop on the left shoulder can be used to secure the end of an antenna, improving communication conditions.

The easily accessible and adjustable radio pocket fits a large variety of radios while the spare battery pocket has a velcro loop on the bottom so that items with a hook such as whistles can be stored for easy access.

An outside pocket holds a pen on one side and a folding knife or multi-tool on the other.

The front of the pocket has a strap for taping a smoke can and the pocket flap has a place to clip the speaker microphone.

A large panel pocket closes with a choice of hook and loop or zipper and can be used for note pads, maps or an extension antenna.
