AFFF Fire Fighting Foam
AFFF Fire Fighting Foam Code: afff763897

AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) concentrates have been developed in Australia and are manufactured locally.

In the development of AFFF we have attempted to produce a product which is comparable in fire test performance with good quality products imported from the USA and Europe and is currently used by many mining operations throughout Australia.

The AFFF Fire Fighting Foam shows excellent tolerance to hard or salt water.

AFFF Fire Fighting Foam is biodegradable and has low toxicity.

When stored in sealed containers or correctly designed storage tanks, AFFF Fire Fighting Foam will remain useable for at least 10 years.

AFFF Fire Fighting Foam is available as a 1%, 3% or 6% concentrate.

AFFF Fire Fighting Foam 1% is proportioned at a rate of 1 part in 99 parts water, AFFF Fire Fighting Foam 3% is proportioned at a rate of 3 parts in 97 parts water, AFFF Fire Fighting Foam 6% is proportioned at the rate of 6 parts to 94 parts water.

AFFF Fire Fighting Foam is an effective fire extinguishing agent for fires involving flammable liquids such as petrol, kerosene, diesel and oils.

When proportioned with water at the recommended rate, the foam solution should be applied to the fire at a minimum rate of 4 litres per minute per square meter of fuel area.

AFFF Fire Fighting Foam is NOT suitable for application to flammable liquids that are water soluble, such as alcohol & ketones

AFFF Fire Fighting Foam is supplied in a range of containers.
