Arachnipod - Industrial
Arachnipod - Industrial Code: Arachnipod - Industrial

The Arachnipod is a truly innovative design that captures multi-functional capabilities, simplicity and robust engineering providing a precision crafted total edge management system (TEMS).
The Patent Pending Modular Head allows for a myriad of configurations depending on individual requirements and specifications.

Key Features
  • Pulley Head mounted on a single leg features a sheave groove for up to 13 mm rope and a sheave groove for 8 mm wire cable. This allows direct load through the upper centre of the head
  • Patent pending anodised head allows for multiple configurations
  • Custom designed aluminium extrusion coupled with stainless steel fittings
2.7 m three part maximum height extension, 1.4 m minimum or transportable length
  • Single Qik-Link Pin Release allows for flat packaging or storage
  • Tether shackles for increased stability or for lowering/raising
  • Alpha/Numeric reflective/high visibility strips
  • Leg Tether: rope grab system secures legs
  • 2 eye bolts for main and backup system
  • Heavy duty storage bag is optional on the basic unit.
Feet Options Include
  • Standard: formed alloy with integrally moulded polyurethane soft tread pivots; provides unrivalled traction on smooth dense surfaces of varying angles
  • Spikes: machined billet alloy with stainless steel tips imbed into surfaces of varying density
  • Sand Shoe: increases surface area and stability on soft terrain – mounts over the “Spike”
  • Ground Stakes: driven into softer surfaces through existing feet provide added stability.
Ferno Arachnipod Advanced Accessories (sold separately)
  • Bridge system converts the Arachnipod Basic to a complete trench rescue set. Available in 2 m, 3 m and 4 m spans. Additional leg supplied in Bridge Kit.
  • Supplementary Legs in conjunction with the Shape Keeper Plate convert the Arachnipod Basic to a Quadpod or Pentapod increasing the safe working load
  • Mono Pole Head converts a single leg to an advanced single pole rescue system
  • Easel Leg with angle extension aids in edge transitions. Ideal for high angle rescue retrieval and deployment on both vertical and over hanging terrain
  • Winch: comes complete with a rapid mount plate and fixes to existing Leg Pin holes
  • Qik-Link Pins allow the Arachnipod Basic to accept accessories or convert to Monopole and ‘A’ Frame rescue systems
  • Equipment Bracket secures to the middle leg section creating an additional attachment point
  • Steps mounted through the lower and middle leg holes allow users to reach the head without reducing the pod’s height.
