Scott Health & Safety have just released their new Breathing Apparatus called the Advanced Carrying System (ACS). On the surface it looks just like many of the other BA harness systems on the market however, Scott really raised the bar when they invented this one. How often do you have to go through induction programs and fill in lots of paper work or take time off to meet the technician who has to come out and do your BA service? The ACS basically eliminates the need for major onsite pneumatic servicing. The pneumatics on the ACS can be removed in seconds, placed in a 1kg Air Bag, and sent back for any major work without anyone having to leave or come onto site. The pneumatic system has a compact series of valves which is activated by the first breath. Even better, once the pneumatics are detached, the entire harness can be dropped into a washing machine for cleaning. The ACS integrates ThermoFlex® technology so the harness is very flexible whilst at the same time, being extremely light and very comfortable. The Queensland Fire & Rescue Service have now adopted the ACS as their next BA System state wide. The ACS is compatible with a range of facemasks, cylinders and valve styles. A range of materials can also be carried on the system with padded or unpadded harnesses. The product has Class I and Class II approvals and is compatible with Australian Standard AS/NZS1716:2003. |
